These audacious acts of aviation artifice are entries in Red Bull's
fantastic flying fringe festival, The Flugtag. In the Flugtag, teams
compete by soaring homebuilt flying contraptions of a dock into the San
Francisco Bay. Entrants are judged on creative craftsmanship, dashing
display and great glides.
Pilot Daryl Fox is the Canadian Nation
Flugtag Champion for 2002 (Der Fliegen Plastik) and 2003 (The
Courage Cannon).
