Wings of Rogallo

Where The Plastic Meets The Road.

Our greatest advantage is our age and wisdom as a team.  No, wait! Our two greatest advantages are our age and wisdom as a team and our engineering approach to aircraft manufacture. Well, okay that's three, but the engineering part is fairly important.

Here's the problem see, our first craft Fliegen Plastik was an entirely plastic monoplane and it flew 27'.  Our second craft was a wooden cannon.  Due to a tragic series of events our distance was essentially zero (although I think I probably got about 10').  So, we have:

1 Plastic Wing == 27 feet0 wood wings == 0 feet

From this we can draw two conclusions. More wings are better and those wings should be plastic.  If we were to draw a graph of the data, we would get:

Graph of the flight distance

This graph makes it all clear.  It is obvious that we need more wings.  Think about it, Biplanes used to rule the sky, but were we happy? No, we were not, that's why we invented Triplanes. Now Triplanes, whaoh-yeah! For some reason that will probably never be clear, at this point everyone went to monoplanes.  They didn't have the courage to continue.

We do.
